Why the name?

Frogmore Stew

Frogmore Stew

For our family, “Frogmore” recalls our roots and fond memories of times with family and friends.  Frogmore Stew is a traditional low-country South Carolina boil of boat-fresh shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions and more, ladled onto paper-covered tables.

Fresh Blueberries

Fresh Blueberries

“Fresh” means we really are an American Family Farm dedicated to growing the highest quality Fresh Blueberries and caretaking that fresh quality to your local store. We’ve taken a fresh perspective on every aspect of Blueberry growing… from our farm to your table.

Vision and Mission

Our Family truly believes we are creating a New American Farm that grows, harvests and carefully conserves the fine quality of its fresh Blueberries for you and your family to enjoy. And we will accomplish this through sustainable earth friendly practices and effective agricultural innovation.

We believe we can best achieve this purpose through a committed team of experienced, educated and talented members who foster creativity, high standards, stewardship of resources and fair dealings with all our relationships.

Valuing Relationships

Customer Who eat Blueberries

We know we won’t be successful for long unless we satisfy each customer passing by our Blueberries in the local store, who sees their firm blue freshness, and tastes their luscious, tangy sweetness.  That’s why we place so much effort on what plants we grow, how we grow them and the care we take to make sure their quality of freshness remains to the last bite.

Neighbors and Community

We are part of the rural farming community near Dade City, Florida and seek to improve the well-being of our community.  One outreach project is our budding partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay.  We’re helping them raise funds to fight hunger. Industry and Institutions

We believe we should support the Blueberry Grower industry and partner with our fellow Blueberry growers by sharing how to grow better Blueberries. We’re also committed to partnering with the University of Florida, particularly through its breeding, research and extension programs. We are an official experimental Blueberry variety trial site and provide internships for students pursuing careers in Agriculture and Horticulture.

Great Team Members

With a lifetime of success in real estate and manufacturing, and a love of the land, in 2013 the Sigety Family embarked on a quest to create a New American Farm—one that performs to high standards and makes innovation a centerpiece of its operation.  Here on our American Family Farm we’re dedicated to growing great blueberries. Frogmore’s “Super Fruit For A Super You!”

To build our New American Farm we brought together a group of dedicated people to help our family. They’re trusted friends, highly educated blueberry growers, families we have worked with for over 15 years.
